Kai Kailuweit's Kiss in Guatemala

I received this email from Kai recently, together with some pictures, reproduced below:

Hi Steve!

Did you know your website is being followed in Guatemala, Central America?? The age of Internet!

I have been visiting your website regularly since about half a year ago, when I obtained lots of useful information during assembly of my latest trike. Your site is both informative and quite entertaining.

If it is of interest to you I could send you a couple of pictures from over here. What I am flying now is basically a trike similar to yours, but w/o fairing and with the Kiss 450 wing.

On big advantage we UL pilots have over here is practically a complete lack of red tape and supervision. Still a paradise in that sense.

I have a little flight park and an informal website which still needs to be finished. I lack the time though. It is www.altaventura.20m.com

So if you want to go "international", let me know, I can send you some pictures. If you want to stick to British input, no problem.

On Saturday we will be flying to over the border to El Salvador, to a fly-in. Following legal technicalities it would be a nightmare, in practice no formalities whatsoever will be engaged in...

Many regards from over here and thanks for the excellent support provided. I have already suggested to Air Creation (I am their local dealer) that they should have website support modelled after your site.

When I corresponded with Kai, I told him that flying to El Salvador had a very romantic feel and sounded more exciting then anything I had done. He responded that crossing the channel was more of an adventure, which just goes to prove 'the grass is always greener on the other side'!

Here are Kai's pics.
