April 2003, and I decided that leaving my plane rigged in the sun all the time was not doing my sail any favours. After some searching, I found a specialist company to make some wing covers for me. They came down to the strip and made a brown paper template of one of the wings. Sadly, I didn't have my camera that day, as the plane looked as if it was being gist wrapped.

It takes about 10 minutes to put the covers on or off, so no hardship there.

The company is Velas, and they have a web-site at www.velas.co.uk. If any other KIss owners want some, they have kept the paper template!

The cost? 330 Pounds Sterling. Not too bad when you consider the cost of a new sail!
